If you enjoy walking and being in the outdoors this could be the Group for you.

Our Group is part of the Scottish and National Ramblers Association, but we are simply known as the "Ramblers".

We have a current membership of around 130 but needless to say we don't all turn out for every outing.

Birnam Hill

 

We provide organised low level and hill walks on Saturdays and local mid-week walks on Wednesday mornings on distances varying between three and twelve miles.

We have recently re-instigated car sharing. (see seperate tab under About Eastwood)

We will now normally meet up at Clarkston Halls car park, prior to setting off to the walk starting point, unless the car park is in use for other purposes or public transport walks etc., however, this will be advised on the programme.

Please note that the 'Meeting Time' shown on the walk programme is actually the time when we leave  Clarkston.

Try to arrive at the car park at least 15 minutes before the departure time in order that we can take the register and organise the sharing of cars.

If you are travelling direct to the walk start point please inform the leader no later the 7pm Friday on the day preceeding the walk.
